Privacy and local data
The authored publication is static. Python computations run in this browser through WebAssembly. Research inputs, widget values, uploaded files, Python state, and OPFS content are not sent to Hoxy Papers.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is defined as a dormant, aggregate-only production option. It is disabled in this private build. Activating it requires a separate production approval. The contract excludes custom widget events, persistent user identifiers, session replay, upload metadata, OPFS content, research inputs, and Python state.
Runtime diagnostics remain local and redacted unless you deliberately copy and send them. There is no account sync and no background upload.
Local data
Interactive state is transient until you explicitly save or import it. The controls below use the browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS), scoped to this publication and origin. Browser storage is device- and browser-profile-specific; clearing site data removes it.

When JavaScript is available, consent-gated inspect, persistence, export, import, and clear controls appear here. Exported workspaces are integrity-checked for accidental change, not authenticated as originating from Hoxy Papers. Imports larger than 64 MiB are rejected before the browser decodes them. Without JavaScript, you can clear this origin's data through your browser settings.
The usage estimate is origin-wide because browsers do not expose a reliable byte count for one OPFS subdirectory. The displayed namespace states exactly which publication workspace export, import, and clear operations affect.
